Project Overview
GO Home. Small Footprint + Healthy Landscape = Sustainable Future
GO Logic, LLC, an architecture and construction firm in Belfast, Maine, is building the GO Home, a 1500sqft prototype residence providing an extremely energy efficient structure at an affordable cost.
AKD is working with GO Logic to minimize the impact of the building construction on the site and to develop a simple and sustainable landscape design that engages and enhances the site’s existing ecology.
The project is on track for both PassivHaus Certification (it will be the first in Maine) and USGBC LEED Platinum rating.
